SVI in National Three Peaks Challenge
A team from Steve Vick International (SVI) is currently preparing to take part in the National Three Peaks Challenge.
The challenge will involve 12 SVI employees, including Steve and Angela Vick, climbing the three highest peaks in the UK, in just 24 hours.
The challenge with the ascent of Ben Nevis in Scotland, then Scafell Pike in the Lake District and finally Snowdon in Wales.
The team will walk 42 kilometres and reach a height of 3,407m in total.
The team is raising funds for local charity Dorothy House Hospice, an independent charity delivering compassionate care and support in the local community by supporting adults with life-limiting illnesses.
Some years ago, a member of the Steve Vick staff was cared for by Dorothy House when terminally ill.
An SVI spokesperson said:"The positive effect of the care provided by Dorothy House on his state of mind made a very big impression and Steve and Angela have been supporters ever since.
"One hundred per cent of the money raised will go to Dorothy House Hospice and donations can be madethrough the Steve Vick International Just Giving page."
