Join IGEM at our two September conferences
It's a busy time for IGEM! Not only have we recently released a plethora of new training courses designed to give you the skills and confidence to carry out your job as effectively as possible but we are also gearing up for two IGEM conferences.
The first of these is a real highlight of the events calendar; IGEM'sAnnual Conference and Engineering Update sponsored by National Grid, Northern Gas Networks, SGN and Wales & West Utilities. This conference takes place on 13 and 14 September 2016 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. We have a whole host of expert speakers, including representatives from the Energy Technologies Institute, the UK Energy Research Council, Ofgem and the gas distribution networks. Day one, on Tuesday 13 September, is primarily aimed at managers and decision makers and covers the policy and regulation changes which are essential for planning for the future. Day two, on Wednesday 14 September, is for everyone who works in the gas industry! Hear all about the newest innovations and developments in best practice, and enjoy networking opportunities with delegates from across the UK and further afield.
Make sure you save some time to visit our exhibition space where you can engage with exhibitors such as Macaw Engineering, Steve Vick International, Synthotech and many more. Exhibitor spaces are still available. Exhibiting at IGEM's annual conference gives you access to over 200 delegates from across the gas industry, raising your profile and gaining vital exposure for your brand. Once we've enjoyed the Annual Conference, pretty much straight afterwards is Gas Safety Week and time for our Gas Utilisation conference. GU 2016 takes place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on Wednesday 21 September 2016. It's the second time we've run Gas Utilisation 2016 and, building on last year's success, we're pleased to offer a packed programme for those of you working in the gas utilisation sector or whose professional interests touch on this area - there really is something for everyone. The programme includes speakers such as Which?, Smart Energy GB, British Gas, NICEIC and Gas Safe Register with Dr Peter Bonfield from BRE Group delivering our keynote address.
If you're looking for the opportunity to interact with those in gas utilisation and from other areas of the gas industry then exhibiting at GU 2016 is for you. Benefit from plenty of promotion before, during and after the event and network with up to 200 gas industry professionals. You can find out more in our exhibitor pack. If you're really looking to increase your brand recognition and raise your profile then considersponsoring GU - you'd be in good company as we are already sponsored by NICEIC and Gas Tag.
We very much look forward to welcoming you to our September conferences.
