IGEM Presidential Talk cum New Members’ Reception

Highlights:

The IGEM Presidential Talk cum New Members’ Reception was successfully held on 4 March 2016 in Hong Kong. Mr Chris Clarke delivered his talk on “Asset Management in the UK”, introducing the ISO 55001 that launched in the Wales & West Utilities in 2014 to the participants. The principles to measure the operational performance were also discussed. Participants actively raised questions and fostered discussions in the question and answer session after the insightful sharing by Mr Chris Clarke.

Following the Presidential Talk, a New Members’ Reception (Hong Kong session) was arranged for the new IGEM members in Hong Kong. All new members including Chartered Member, Incorporated Member and Graduate Members received certificates from the President, introducing them to the IGEM Family.

There were more than 60 attendees in this event. A souvenir was presented to Mr. Chris Clarke by Ir James Kwan, Past IGEM President and Founding Chairman of IGEM Far East District Section to thank him for visiting the Section and delivering the Talk to our members.
